Why this site exists.
Most Joomla answers online are either a forum thread from 2014 or a video that takes eleven minutes to say one thing. This is the other kind: short pieces that tell you what to change and where.
Doctor Joomla is written by Cloudfaction, an agency in Hellevoetsluis in the Netherlands. We have been building sites since 1999 and running them on Joomla since 2013. We organise the Joomla User Group in Rotterdam, speak at Joomla events, and publish extensions through JModules that have been installed more than ten thousand times.
Everything here comes out of work we actually did. If an article says a setting is in a particular place, it is because we just went and looked.
